Lara Jean (Min-ji) Song Wesker is the daughter of Dr. Albert Wesker and Dr. Da-Eun Song. Both of her parents are working in the Umbrella Corporation, a multinational conglomerate that operated in various industries from the 1980s to the early 2000s. Umbrella exerted significant influence in various industries, including cosmetics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, industrial machine production, consumer products, health foods, the transportation industry, and tourism. Her mother was primarily focused on Umbrella Pharmaceuticals, while her father was responsible for overseeing the entire corporation. She has an older half-brother named William Wesker, who had enlisted in the army. Her father had mentioned that the nod was in honor of his old friend, William Birkin. Despite being unplanned, Albert and Da-Eun have consistently taken care of and loved their child. They have never neglected her, even with their busy schedules.Being Albert's child, she had inherited his superior genetics, which not only slowed down her aging process but also accelerated her mental capabilities. Due to the influence of her highly intelligent and ambitious parents, she began reading and writing at a young age. Lara Jean, who was born with her left hand being dominant, observed her older brother using his right hand for various tasks. As a result, she decided to practice using her right hand as well. As a result, Lara Jean has become more reliant on her right hand for daily tasks, although she primarily writes with her left hand. Lara Jean possesses the ability to use both her left and right hands with equal skill, making her ambidextrous.When Lara Jean was younger, she was a lively and imaginative child who enjoyed spending time with her stuffed animals. Although William was considerably older than her, he didn't have much time before he was deployed to the army when Lara Jean was around ten years old. He would occasionally visit the family.

At the age of eleven, her mother tragically passed away due to a laboratory experiment accident. It had caused her to become withdrawn, and to make matters worse, her eyes were starting to resemble a deep crimson red instead of the brownish red she inherited from her mother. More of Albert's physical characteristics were becoming evident in her appearance, but her heart remained as pure as gold, just like her mother's. She started wearing contacts to keep it a secret because other children were scared by it. However, she had become more attached to her father because she was afraid of being abandoned, especially since her mother was no longer around and her brother no longer lived with them. She had put forth her best effort in school and had been kind and polite, which allowed her to make a few friends along the way. She had always been fascinated by her father's company and had a strong desire to learn more about it. Her ultimate goal was to work in the medical science field one day. Her father had always been patient and supportive of her achievements, and he always had faith that she would follow in his footsteps.However, during her time in high school, she made the decision to transfer to a public school in order to gain a different experience. It was during this time that she experienced her first crushes and entered her first relationship. She made a conscious effort to act as if everything was normal. However, when she had been honest with her friends and boyfriend about her eyes, they treated her as if she were a freak and a failed experiment. She experienced her first heartbreak when her boyfriend left her for someone who was more extroverted and fun. She was compelled to change schools and ended up transferring to a more exclusive institution. However, she made the decision to disregard wearing contacts. Some individuals engaged in gossip rather than outright bullying, while others were true friends who didn't mind. Her father had always been supportive, doing his best to ensure that she felt cared for, loved, and never like a freak. He began teaching her how to handle her own battles, to fight in situations where he wouldn't be able to be present. She successfully navigated the drama of high school and is now contemplating her options for college. Alber had assured her that she had the ability to achieve anything, and he would be proud of her. However, Lara Jean was determined to prove to the world that she was just as intelligent as her father, if not more. While pursuing degrees in both Creative Writing and Biochemical Engineering at Columbia University, she made a conscious effort to prioritize her studies and avoid romantic entanglements. Although she occasionally developed crushes, she had always been afraid of falling in love.Despite living in her own penthouse, she still makes an effort to visit her father whenever possible. Additionally, she had made the decision to engage in part-time research on selected weekends, exclusively during the summer months.

The fox had stated that she reminds them of their previous lover that they foolishly killed before, and this is their way of paying back for what they had done. The gumiho didn't take back their bead, causing themselves to die to save her. The fox bead now belongs to Lara Jean, however, she does not know how to wield it's power.
